The TYPROS Foundation provides strategic funding to projects that engage young Tulsans in placemaking, innovation and community development. Each summer, the TYPROS Foundation selects several projects from community submissions that will #MakeTulsaAwesome. Notable past grantees include the Great Raft Race, the Outsiders House Museum, Tulsa Flag and the Black Wall St. mural.

The Boomtown Awards is the largest annual fundraiser benefiting the TYPROS Foundation. This event brings together some of Tulsa’s most dedicated movers and shakers who are working to make the city we love even better. The evening will be honoring individuals, companies and organizations who support TYPROS' mission to positively impact Tulsa by connecting people, engaging in the community, and developing the next generation of leaders.

TYPROS Day of Service

The TYPROS Day of Service is an annual volunteer initiative for young professionals. Launched in 2024, the program encourages members to give back and develop leadership through service. Each year, TYPROS partners with local organizations to tackle meaningful projects, with past partners including 918 Day, Tulsa SPCA, and Tulsa Farm Lab/RG Foods. The ultimate goal is to inspire community impact and collectively reach 10,000 volunteer hours annually.

918 Lead is a nonpartisan one-weekend boot camp to prepare young Tulsans to run for public office.

Whether you’re considering a campaign one day, ready to file the paperwork tomorrow, or just want to learn more about the ins and outs of local government, 918 Lead is a crash course in everything that goes into running for a local, state or federal seat.

918 Vote is TYPROS’ voter engagement campaign designed to get young professionals registered to vote, informed about upcoming elections, and out to the polls.

One of TYPROS’ most popular and well-known programs, Get On Board places accepted applicants in local nonprofit board internships. Applicants are able to rank their preferences for nonprofits and serve for year-long terms.
