Park(ing) Day is an annual global open-source event where community members collaborate to transform on-street metered parking spaces into temporary public spaces.

Organizations and Businesses are invited to take over an on-street parking space in Downtown Tulsa for the day and install their own interpretation of an urban park. For those feeling a little competitive, participating parklets will be judged by a jury and the public. Awards will be given for Best Design, Best Activation, and a People’s Choice. This year, your business or organization will be assigned an on-street parking space in Downtown to construct your own parklet for the day.
