The TYPROS Diversity Crew focuses on openness and celebrating our unique differences. We work with local organizations to further diversity and inclusion efforts within TYPROS and in Tulsa.
For our May meeting we will be screening The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson. Marsha P. Johnson, was a transgender legend, activist, one of the prominent figures in the Stonewall uprising, and was known as “the Rosa Parks of the LGBT movement". We feel this documentary will provide some context for Pride and why it's so important to the LGBTQ+ community, and tell the story of a wonderful person that not a lot of people are familiar with.
