Did you know that the UN estimates roughly one third of the food produced in the world for human consumption every year — approximately 1.3 billion tons — gets lost or wasted?!

Food waste has a big impact on a community's progress toward sustainability and we're excited that Full Sun Composting opened two years ago to become Tulsa's first commercial composting company. Join us as we take a tour of their composting facility to learn more about the scientific process of composting as well as the benefits of composting and how we can help divert food waste at home, work & even local business and events.

Please note, we'll be meeting at their facility at 6 p.m. and you should probably wear shoes you're OK with getting a little dirty.
